white4d96
Both my back brake calipers are sticking up a storm so I am going to try and rebuild them. I found the kits for cheap at an O'Reilly's near me, but I have no clue how to do this (plan on picking up kits tomorrow.) What tools do I need and how do I do it? white4d96
One of those little $8 parts-store jobs do the trick? Just guessing, I unscrew the piston (after I disconnect the caliper and all that jazz), pop the seals off, clean everything, pop new seals in and screw the piston back in? killallblue
Yup but when u hook every thing bake up make sure u bleed the breakes best way is to buy a 30 dallor break bleeder it's worth it
white4d96
I can bleed the brakes pretty easy. I typically make a bleeder on the spot with a water bottle and some hose. Actually now may be a good time to change my brake fluid too. Quote Too many projects, too little time...

white4d96
Meh, then I'd wanna do the fronts too and that's just too much work. Besides, can't really see them through the wheels (stock steelies FTL) Quote Too many projects, too little time...

white4d96
Some members of a GP forum said I should just buy remanufactured calipers with a warranty because they go out frequently. Anyone else had this issue with these cars? Quote Too many projects, too little time...
