An alternative route??

AFter a hard search and all for a great enclosure design..Now i have another problem..here in seychelles there are nooo MDF boards..What kind of alternative wood can i use instead of MDF?? heard plywood sucks..Any suggestions?? something that will keep the sound good as the MDF??

birch is multiple layers of wood joined together

Most birch at places like home depot is 5 ply which is 5 layers of wood. You can get up to 13 play (thats the highest I've seen) the more plys the stronger the wood

The only problem with that is it's 15 dallors more but if u don't care about money get it it sounds about the same

home depot, lowes, most hardware stores have it, if not hit up steve pretty sure hes still making some boxes here and there!

U talking in florida or the actuall islands? if its florida just pay a buddy with a truck and go find the nearest HD Lowes or Menards and they will most deffinitly have MDF and Birch wood, just remember 3/4 inch thick or better. Heck even look up a close lumber yard too.

Well urrmm..People..Thanks for trying to help with the stores..but..I Do not live in the US!! Im on the Seychelles island!! very far away!! 7 degrees south of the equator! man..I wish here was like the US! get anything you want in every corner you look..Well birch also is not available here..I asked a guy @ a hardware store and he was like WTF is that??! LOL!! Urrm..any other stuff that can replace those two?? Thanks
