Biggtattoo62 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Hi im new to the sight and would like some help,i have two DD 9515 dule 2ohm subs and a orion hcca 5000d amp but my amp is 1 ohm stable so i cant wire it to both subs. my friend wants to trade me two memphis 1100 amps for my amp,i can wire 1 for each sub they are both 1 ohm stable. will they be good enough to move my subs in a vented box,or will the amps be to weak and burn out what would you recommend any help will be greatly appreciated thank you.
04xterra Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 trade it. the memphis is way better than that orion 5000 that is rated at max power. that means its only a 2400 watt amp.. and those two memphis amps would be better than that... IMO...you will only be losing 200 watts by doing the trade.... and in actuallity you might even gain being that the memphis is underrated and the orion is overrated.

I dont know much about them they are DD 9515F dont have any spec on them. I got them as a trade brand new still in ther box's for a paint job i did on a guys sports bick, but im not sure on how many watt they are and if the memphis be strong enough, and if it will be loud. thanks again for the reply greatly appreciated.
