I was just walking through Lowes one day and saw those for 97 cents a pipe, and just thought to myself.. i could do something nice with those. Ya, I think that looks really proffesional. 79 cutty Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Depending on the vehicle, you can drill a hole or 3 in the frame rail, at both ends, run your wires into the frame so they are protected. If its a unibody just do what FRITO did I wouldn't just go drilling holes in my frame. Structurally most frames are not exactly rigid, the last thing I would do is potentially weaken it. All depends on how drastic you want to be, and what you trust, but if your not familiar with the load distribution on the frame I wouldn't chance randomly drilling holes in it.
