dcofer
i was wondering how you would go about checking the actual rms wattage your amp is producing. what tools would i need? i have a mulitmeter but thats all.
sean 371
Thats all you need. Play a 40hz test tone with no bass boost or bass eq alteration, test the AC voltage at the speaker leads. Square that number and divide it by the ohm load. That's a rough estimation of the power your amps putting out. A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall
