red2chfd Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 I got the amp for free when I upgraded an amp in a customers car and I've had it on my test bench for about 6 years now. I use it just to test speakers. It doesn't leave the bench. I don't care about the sound. If a customer come by and says do those speakers work sure let me show you.... It holds up ok and I have found that this amp will play at 10v where most amp won't. I have to say its a good test amp despite the name brand. Because we need one for clamp test's ...we are doing Crecscendo 3K vs. Sundown 3K...and maybe Crunch GP 3K....would love to throw that amp in the mix! Don't like the 3000 because it puts out less power than 2 1500s strapped. Maybe I can get one before Sunday but I can tell you the Audiopipe will lose against those amps.
