Subs and amp

I am getting 2 12'' Alpine Type R's Alpine Type R's

I am just wondering what amp will power both of these subs at a decent price. I also need to know if any other modifications need to be made to my car such as an alt.

For an amp no more than 275$ but i would like it as cheap as possible

do you have dual 2's or dual 4's?

edit: just saw link fail. lol wattz is selling rockford t1000.1bds.. bass knob and everything and i think he can do 275 shipped. i think they do like 13 or 1400 something rms at 1 ohm. you can wire your 2 subs together to get that much watts. itll slap your subs. or if you dont want to do that much power wire em both seperatly to 2 ohm to get the 500ish 600ish rms per sub. thats the amp i bought for 2 type r's. as for elc. just do the big 3, a second batt in the back, you should be fine with stock alt as long as it isnt a shitty 60 or 70amp alt. make sure to use 0 gauge. hope this helps. but hes doing a good deal on those amps. check em out in the for sale section lol. there are alot of thousand watt amps out there though. just look around and youll find something good bro.

(if there dual 4 ohm subs)

u will need 1/0 with it and about ur alt

doing the big 3 in 1/0 and changeing out the oem battery(if u have not done that) should be good

but if u wanted 2 spend the money u can put a battery in the back

Sorry im just really new to this stuff. Is it possible to over power a sub through an amp?

yes it is possible to over power. i always over power. but bro... that amp no way. it prob does less then half 2300watts. NEVER cheap out on your equipment. never. never. never. go big or go home homie.

if you want to go cheap on batt then go with a refurb interstate batt but if u want a better one go with an optima. and i dont think that amp will push what it says
