Neo_frog
Nice, I was hoping that it wouldn't get too pricey. I found a 600w Pioneer System from JB Hi-Fi for $650 with two 6" splits and 2 9x4" speakers with the 600w amp of course, but There is better out there then pioneer, I know that. But from what I have heard, aren't you unable to run a custom speaker setup with a stock headunit? Without using that thing from Rockford Fosgate? You can run after market speakers from your stock head unit. It won't be as loud as they can get, but you can run them directly into the high level output. You will notice a significant difference if you buy good speakers though. No accessories needed. The only thing you'll need is a color scheme for your specific car, or a 9V battery to pop test them.
