dmanson Posted July 10, 2007 Report Share Posted July 10, 2007 it's funny how a small amped alternator could put out more than a bigger one. heck for my expedition i was quoted on a 220 and a 240 amp alternator. the 220 was like $20 cheaper and puts out more at idle than the 240 ....... so to say I'll be going with the 220, i'm only pushing 3500rms.
