Alexdb7
I doubt its going to pass any emissions tests. It shouldn't effect performance. Guest Scylloga
I doubt its going to pass any emissions tests. It shouldn't effect performance. Actually this isnt totally true. Some, no most newer cars are designed to perform with a catalytic converter. OP check you local mufflet shops. I had to have the cat replaced on a truck I had three years ago and installed it cost like 150 bucks. but for the most part most of that was the cat price. I think he charged like 45 bucks to weld it in.

jagblazer01
without a cat i doubt you will pass emissions. I believe they still put a sniffer on the tailpipe with that year car. You should really look into getting a universal cat and put on there. summit racing and jegs sell them or you could check out muffler shops in your area. Just make sure you get the right size for your piping Quote Team Sundown Audio / Team XS Power / Team SHOK SMD Super Buyer/Sellerwww.sundownaudio.com www.shokindustries.com www.4xspower.com www.excessiveamperage.com

IF they do the inspection like its done here once on the lift it will be noticed and a big ole stamp of denial. OP find a local muffler shop and have them install it. Faster and prolly cheaper unless you have a welder.
