EclipseChris
Ok, my mom wants to buy some of my old setup, but cannot change up the head unit. My thought are using the rear speaker wires to power an amp. I am thinking about having her get an amplifier with specifically high lever input with an output pair of rcas and it needs to be a 5 channel amp. The sub channel needs to put out low power like 100 or 150 rms. I imagine a 4 chan amp could do it, one speaker in each of the first two channels and the sub bridged on the last two channels. If anyone has any idea where to find an amp that has high level (speaker wire) input that will be able to power 2 full range speakers and one sub. Lemme know. I know i can just get a converter but i want to explore this option. Quote i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P. Eclipse build Old New V-Dub My feedback. EclipseChris
hi lo converters. you wire em into the speakers in the rear deck I know i can use this (like i said) but i want to see if anything else can work. She is not trying to pay for a large number of things she doesn't know what do. She thinks, if i tell her i am going to do something to her car i am only adding the few things she will see.
