New System Ideas...

Ok so i'm about to do a complete redo on my 1998 GMC Sierra single cab w/ bench seat. I'm looking for some ideas and what brands you guys reccomend. I'm goin to be looking at mid range setups and i want good clear sound with a lil more bass then my kfc-w3012s on a kac-914d had. I'm looking for two sets of componets, 4 chan amp, mono amp and subs. I would prefer all the stuff to be th same brand or at least amp matching and speakers matching. Here is the catch the subs need to be under 6.5" mounting depth. My enclosure is 62"w/18"h/7.5"td/11"bd. I was looking at diamond audio d3's, but lmk what you guys would do.

well there are some good equip. you can use that will fit i am currently doing a system for a friend with 2 kicker cvt10's(subs) and kx 1200.1 amp and powerbass mids and highs the cvt 10 is a 400 or 500 rms and the cvt12 is like 600/700 rmsand they only needlike 3"mounting depth sound good sealed have not herd with a port ill get back to you later tonight

I'd recommend using Cadence raw drivers on an active set up...

2 x CVLM-64 on each door

1 x CVLT-35 on each door

These would definitely give you more detailed sound and more heart thumping mid-bass...

And if your willing to modify your doors get the CVLW-88S

You can also consider Beyma, Ciare and Powerbass Raws

yeah i'm looking for something in the 400-600rms range...i have never messed with shallow mounts are they worth it? or is getting a lower model the way to go?

well the shallows are a really good product depending on your budget i found another thin mount it is a jl audio but it is a 13.5 " sub but cost like 400 bucks each. the kickersyou can get 8" 10"nad 12" sizes and i would recamend a kx 1200.1 amp for those subs and use a min.4 guage wire for pwr and grnd and 10guage spkr wire. and if you want to do door spkrs i would/will recomend powerbass or a sound stream tarantula series and the sound stream amp is good but the new product i am promoting is the sundown audio they kick ass from the multi chnl. to mono ill holla later

Kicker has The cvts in 6.5" now. Those would be awesome for midbass.

mounting depth needs to be around 6.5" or shallower...the enclosure max is 17.75"h/61.25"w/7.25"td/11.25"bd...price isn't really the issue(500-2.5k), its finding what the best for the space without doing slim subs(i don't like how they sound...I have thought about doing diamond audio, alphasonik, re-audio, alpine and kenwood exceleron. I am trying to keep everything the same brand if possible, for companies like re i would get comp sets and subs to match and go find matching amps for the highs and lows..
