1/8 Wavelength or 1/16 wavelength

I was curious as to if you could make a 1/8 or 1/16 wavelength t-line...I got thinking, you have 1/2 wavelength and 1/4 wavelength, so why can't you go down another fraction And if not, could you explain why it wouldn't work
