running IB - Infinant Baffle

well its come to the point were i gotta take my system out of my truck and size it down alot and i was wondering

the way my back seats are something like this

i cant remake the cubby hole covers and make some small sealed boxs cause the seats cant fold up to hear the sound so i was thinking

can i cut the front of my cubby hole seat thing and run my 2 8's IB in there? i was thinking of putting my amps in the cubby area

im gunna cut out some 1/4'' birch to cover the cubby holes cause my truck didn't come with the covers to seal it up a lil bit better

or i might just cut out some 1/4'' birch and put my amps under my seats and what knot

will the 8's sound ok IB or will they need a box?

only reason im doing this is i wont get rid of my truck and if i sell it i will hook the 8's up to factory stereo so ppl aint stuck with 2 big holes in the back of the truck lol, i will cover speakers with grills so feet wont affect them

my buddy had a truck like mine but an older one and he put some 6x9's back there and he said they sounded good so i dunno why 8's would sound bad

i would make a small box for em and set it behind my seat but i want as much room as i can have to use

what yall think about doing this?

if i do get rid of my truck i will let the 8's go with it and the boss 300w 2ch too, it has high level inputs so i can hook it to the rear speakers and put the factory stereo back in it

why i say this is, car seat goes behind passanger seat, amps prolly under front seats or in bench cubby with all wires taped up so no shorting out possable, and 8's mounted in the front of the bench with grills over them

i hope it dont sound like shit, but it should sound better than midbass from some 6&1/2's, i did have my system all out ecept for 1 jl wo 12 and it sounded like shit in there, looked clean, but sounded like ass, it was in a downfire box faceing backwards, i unno if i can port that box to make it sound better or what

need help figureing this out

i was gunna cut the back of my truck on the sides and put the 8's in there or get some 6&1/2'' subs n put back there but i unno, want to use what i got

like i said, if i get rid of the truck the 8's and amp will go with truck and factory stereo put back in with some decent cheap aftermarket speakers, like some good coax's or something cause i lost the factory speakers i took out of my truck, boss amp even has a gain knob too i can put with it lol

can someone help me with this cause im doing it tommrow and need help, 1 12 sounds like ass in my truck by itself and 2 8's aint that bad

and im willing to let it go with the truck if i ever sell it so thats not a problem

but i kno my 6&1/2's will sound ok, but i want some mild sub bass/midbass to go along with em, but thats were the 8's come in
