iTech
I know AT&T requires you to have a data plan for a smart phone, and if you have a regular "Dumbphone" you can get unlimited for $10 if you're one Family Plan with Unlimited Msgs. I was wondering if anyone here knows if I can use the Nexus One with that unlimited family data plan. I've seen some ppl do and some get a text saying they've been upgraded to the Smartphone data plan. Robert8252
I'm not sure exactly but with regular phones they can't really tell what type of phone it is but smartphones talk to the network more and I believe they would know it wasn't a regular phone anymore and charge you more Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
iTech
Just researched it even deeper. You can't any more. Looks like AT&T updated their IMEI Database and knows what phone your using and automatically upgrades your Data Plan to Smartphone. DAMN!
