Freshman6969 Posted June 12, 2010 Report Share Posted June 12, 2010 well for about 2 days now, my itunes is refusing to connect to the internet, as you can see my internet is working perfectly fine, keeps saying "Make sure you network connection is active, then try again" its not being blocked by my firewall so idk the fuck the problem is! helpppp! techforce Posted June 18, 2010 Report Share Posted June 18, 2010 Try going to ADVANCED in iTunes and if "Home Sharing" is enabled, disable it for now. Also, Open Internet Explorer, Click: TOOLS,INTERNET OPTIONS, CONNECTIONS, LAN SETTINGS and uncheck AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTINGS & USE PROXY SERVER... sometimes that hinders it... Also, if your using Windows 7, make sure your internet connection, (NIC CARD) did not get switched to PUBLIC NETWORK instead of either HOME NETWORK or WORK NETWORK...
