I have limited knowledge on car audio so bear with me here. I need help with power and rca wiring, I have two MRP500's that I'm planning to run individually to two 12" dual 4 Alpine Type R's at 2ohms. I took some time and made this diagram for what I'm doing exactly.

I'm going to run the +/- to the cap with 4awg and then split of from the cap with 6awg to the the amps, simple enough.

The second question, would this be the most eff way to run the rca's since the amps aren't strappable. I just dont understand how it would be stereo if I'm splitting the main RCA left into left/right for amp 1 and splitting the right into a left/right for amp 2? Will each amp get the same signal, is there a more efficient setup? Sorry I'm no artist

So, here's how it's done.

1. Remove the capacitor. It wont do you any good and will just put more strain on your alternator

2. Go buy 2 RCA splitters. I suggest KnuKonceptz

3. Go buy 2 pairs of RCA cables. Once again, I suggest KnuKonceptz (these ones have built-in remote leads)

4. Wire the amps like they are in the diagram

5. Plug the RCA splitters into the white/red outputs of your HU

6. Run the 2 RCA cables to the amps making sure that each amp gets one white and one red input

7. ???

8. Profit

In my diagram I used light blue to show the white RCA cables because my background was white and I was too lazy to make all the colors perfect.

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

I've herd a lot of good with Knu, I have also read that caps are useless yes, but I was going mostly for a distribution block and a flashy volt meter lol. Now that u say they cause more problems then I'll just go get a D blocks instead. Thanks for the detailed diagram I have mine backword now that I look at yours. Here will this be the same as what you have, but instead of splitting at the deck just split at the trunk. I figure this way would be cheaper, easier and less interference.

What would you recommend for D block reducer gauge, I was going to go from the shock tower/bat w/4awg then 6awgs from the D blocks. Alpine only recommends 8awg but that just seems asinine but maybe the amp is just that efficient Idk. I just want to do it right w/o an extra bat or HO alt "fingers crossed".
