Bumpindemlowzz
Its probably been asked before a few times but i was wondering what the most cost effective way to put together a carputer. I was looking into possibly getting a Ipad and just getting a bottom of the line Alpine deck just for a volume knob. I dont know how to get it all to work in conjuction to one another. Any tips or suggestions? All i want is media and internet on the go! Quote 2010 Silverado 18" DC XL 18 DC 2k XS Power Batts
vr6bass
check out http://www.mo-co-so.com/ and www.mp3car.com for some good resources, I'm in the exact same boat as you, and I think I've got everything about selected for what I'm going to use. I chose one of lower end prebuilt boxes from mo co so.com and a touchscreen from mp3car.com thats pre assembled. I will be using a 3sixty.1 or 2 for bass control and eq and Then I'll need a usb volume knob and ill have to buy a amp for the mids. I already have a t1500bd and 12w7 but I dont have a headunit in my gti. so the carputer will be my headunit. Its a double din so it will fit nicely. I'm not any expert but I might be able to shine a little light on your questions. pm me if you need help. pm gogojjt for more technical questions, he is a real expert and has been helping me recently.
