I might have an alt prob..

Ive done the big 3 in 1/0 ga and I had a 220amp alternator installed and im only running one battery up front, a used PC1700 Odyssey about a year old. When I come to a complete stop and my car idles, my headlights dim just enough so you can tell a difference with the head unit at 0 volume. Im powering 2 AA Chaos 15's on a RF T1500-1bd wired at 1 ohm. The alt came from DB Electrical out of Tennessee so its not a real badass alt. My car idles right at 700rpm give or take. I drive a 05 Ford Taurus. Any input is welcome. Thanks.

high output alts (like 98% of them) have super bad idle output. thats why some companies put smaller pulleys on them so the alts spin faster, letting it output more at idle.

my 220 amp alt does the same thing nothing to worry about.

Nothing to worry about unless you plan on leaving your car at idle for a long time and drain your battery until there's nothing left...
