Sup? im good with computers, but still sorta new with car audio. here is the deal, i have a 1997 ford escort, its my first car haha was a gift from my Grandma, and ive had it a year or so now with a aftermarket headunit i got on ebay for $20, but i have some cash now, and want to do things right. Now its a ford, and ford is gay and i had to order this whole new front dash thing just to put in a aftermarket headunit because the factor radio was so stupidly big.

Headunit: Piooneer older one i got on ebay.

Ok so i have that faceplace, but i dont have that thing the headunit sits in to hold it in place, there is like a huge ass hole around my deck, and i have it ghetto rigged in place, because i have been lazy, and now i have some $$ and want to fix this. i also at some point want to put in a subwoofer, and amp. but i need to get a headunit, and a thing to hold it in place. i live in nothren minnesota, usa and havent had luck finding what i need, and id rather order it online and do this right.

I will post pics tommorow during the day.

any help will be appricated, any questions, just ask ill reply.

ok well i found this for a escort, but i already have this http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/2669447/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046 and there is still a huge hole around the head unit. unless this one for some reason has more then the one i had bough on crutchfield.

Without pics, I can only guess, but it sounds like you need either the cage (metal casing that the deck slides into) or the little plastic bezel to make it look pretty. Either way, they both come with a new deck, so if you're gonna upgrade, you'll get em.

and a good budget is the pionner deh 3200(ps can be bought at your local walmart for 130)
