mikey33 Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 I have an 85 oldsmobile cutlass and i believe the alternator is 75 amps. I am planning on running 1500rms, 1000 for my subs and 500 for the mids and highs. I bought a stinger spv44 battery and am planning to upgrade the big three to 1/0 gauge. Do I need to purchase a high output alternator? Also, do I need another battery? Thanks for any insight.
