Kicker/Alpine to AQ in Grand Prix

I have two Alpine Type S 12's in a custom made vented box, and a pair of Kicker CVR's in a Kicker ported box, filling my trunk completely. I've been wanting to sell them & swap them out for a better set of 12's. GP trunks can only hold boxes with about 16" height & 36" width max, maybe 18-20" if holes are made for the 6x9 magnets to fit in. I was thinking either a pair of 12's or a single 15, and from what i've seen on here, been thinking about a pair of AQ 12's or an AQ or SMD 15. No set budget yet, just exploring my options. I want a system that will slam hard and sound good, but still give me ample room to put stuff in my trunk. What would you guys suggest? Thanks.
