teamSPB
Door builds Version 2! Now that we know the mids would work the way we wanted them to...I decided to work on a new layout for the doors as I wasnt happy with the rush job I did on the last... The tweeter builds will remain, but the bottom section of the door card will change...moving 1 midrange from the door to the kick panels...you will see why this was done a bit later... 1 Router bit and LOTS of saw dust later...I was left with this... Port anyone?! LOL Time to recess the midrange Lots of recessing later A few different layouts were considered...this was the initial one I was going for... With the above, I was going to have an Ascendant logo in the middle kinda like their 'badge' logo...but decided against it... This layout was then agreed upon... Wrapped up... At this point I wasnt really happy with the desgn and keeping the empty space...The original AA logo idea came back to mind... teamSPB
teamSPB
I wasnt happy with the last design (again!), so I wanted something else to fill in the little gap... Make a cardboard template Draw onto wood Cut out Et Voila! Time to wrap One last test fit Then they were resined! teamSPB

teamSPB
Door builds Version 2.0 Resined and strengthened with matting For the little 'blank' area, I decided to put a logo there...Initial plans were for a AA logo... Some sanding later Test fitting After a while of thought and putting a few logo ideas down...the AA idea changed into a SPB idea! These were then flocked! teamSPB
