jsmoov777
Any advice is greatly appreciated! A couple of days ago i got my 270amp xp alternator (15.1v) installed in my 2005 nissan altima. I am still experiencing light diming at night and during the day on my dashboard. So what do i need to do to correct this problem? I have a yellow top battery under the hood and my system consists of a T-1500 amp powering a rf T2 15 and a rf p-400 powering my component speakers. Again thank you!! cubs_fan0718
Did you do the big 3 ? is that 15.1 what ur actually reading or is that where the alt is set at? get a dmm out and check ur volts at the alt and at the bat, then check and see what u got running in the back. Didnt see u didnt have a batt in back, get a battery for the back like craig said you could talk to the guys at XS, there is also kinetik, Stinger etc just as long as its an AGM battery u should be fine. Craig28
i think you would be fine with an xs power d1200. anything that is good for probably 3k as a secondary batt should be fine for you. cubs_fan0718
your best bet is to talk to someone who sells batterys, like the guys at xs tell them what you have now and what u plan on going to later and they will be able to tell you what you need and why.
