Tundra310 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Hey everyone ive recently purchased a custom ported enclosure with dual RE SE-X 10" subs (i think at 1 ohms) and I've been borrowing my friends amp (pyramid royal red 1000w 2 channel) to power my subs but just recently it kept going into protection mode and 1 of the positives wouldn't work.... Now im in the market for an quality amp of my own because the amp i have now is only pushing a fraction what i need. I've narrowed my choices to either Sundown SAZ-1500D or Sundown SAX-1200D... so my question is which amp best suit my subwoofer? here are the specs of my subs! EricR Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I think you will be better off with the sax1200, they are built more for daily and have been proven to put out around ~1500 on a good electrical. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
