dugee81 Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 so i got a aftermarket alt. with ext. regulator. the alt blew and i sent it back for repair, but i still have the regulator. there is a screw hole on the stock alternator where i ran a wire from the regulator to the aftermarket alt. do you think its possible to run that wire to the stock alt and basically use that regulator instead of the internal regulator? im asking before doing because i dont want to fuck this one up too lol. 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm
