physical port length

When using the torres box calculator and you plug in a length for the port under the inner dimensions, the physical port length is different. So for my box plan I have 33" for the port length but the the physical port length is 29". Its going to be a bending port but which number do I use for my actual port in wood.

physical port length is the actual measurement if you took a tape measure and measured the pieces of wood that are used as the port walls.

Okay so here are my box dimensions,

Height 14.5"

width 31"

depth 18"

port:

height 13"

width 3.25"

length 33""

so does this mean that my first piece of the port will be 13.25"x13" and the second piece that bends would be 15"x13"?

Also the pieces wood on the inside or the outer pieces that are the walls of the box?

piecs on the inside are the wall. someone has a good picture of what all that means, I cant find it anywhere thogh :x

No problem. I made that mistake on my first box and dropped my tuning more than I wanted. lol
