  1. Right now i'm paying 300+ins. Pretty penny that's for sure. edit - whoops, thought you meant a different post :x They were some audiobahns, but i changed to some $50 rockfords. Sounds a hell of a lot better. Thanks man Every one is different! stock clutch yes, but once this one goes (still plenty of life) i will go with a performance clutch. I drove a 08 350 with an aftermarket performance clutch and it is completely different.
  2. Well time's gone by, the car is in my name now, thought I'd stop by again and pay you guys a visit. I finally put a small system in it, sounds great! Only added about 40 lbs, so i'm not too upset. I spend most of my time now on 350z forums, but i'll try to be more active here.. Here's some pics ya bishess Rockford Prime 250-1 amp, and rockford r2d2-10 It sounds great in the little car. And please try to ignore the dust and dirt. There was a lot of blood sweat and tears involved in that wiring. Never did such a good job of hiding wire in my life!
  3. september? lol I bet they'll finish shipping them out by Jan if they're lucky.
  4. how is your fist amazing. And it looks like some kids first system and he thinks hes the loudest in the town. Probably makes everyone deaf at stoplights too.
  5. oh and if someones never heard them before, find the biggest kitchen knife you can and shove it in your ear. thats how they sound
  6. i understand what you're saying derrick, but if he's spending the money for a lvl 5 and an aq2200, he needs to not buy those and spend that money on the electrical, then save again to buy the subs and amp.
  7. I just don't understand why people want to have nice systems but not nice electrical. You know it takes power to make power. Do the big 3 in 1/0, Get a better alternator, get a new battery up front, one in back, and THEN buy your amps and subs. If electrical is too much, well then sorry. Like someone else said, you pay to play.
  8. Here's a suggestion, don't buy the equipment until you spend a decent amount of money on the electrical to back it up.
  9. Hey twisted, when I finish my friends system, mind if we drop you a visit and set the gains on our audioque?
  10. Here's a hypothetical situation: You rode around with your friend that is driving his 5 speed car out in the countryside. He pulls over to take a leak, and he get's stung by a bee on his way back to the car. He is allergic to bee stings, and starts to swell up like a balloon. You open the glove box only to see he's out of his epinephrine shots, so you pull out your phone to call an ambulance only to see you have no reception at all. You can drive him to the hospital in time to save his life, but you don't know how to drive stick, so you don't make it in time, and he dies. It's a highly unlikely situation, but there are times where knowing how to drive stick could be of importance. I believe that all drive's education courses should have a manual car and it should be a requirement to learn how to operate a manual car to get a valid driver's license. I would never buy an automatic car purely based on the cost and complexity of rebuilding an automatic transmission. That's a great idea! lmao. it's one of those things you need to just know how to do, and once you learn you never forget. You could drive a stick when youre 15, never drive one again for 60 years, then drive it again just fine when youre 75. Just like riding a bike. my first manual was my 350z >.> lol. got the "hang" of it (by hang i mean not stalling everytime i came to a stop) in about 1 day. I'm still learning, and still don't have it mastered by a long shot.
  11. I don't find the tech support to be worth the extra $60 lol sorry. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22379_Pioneer-DEH-P7200HD.html
