Bigballa39213
You must upgrade the cooling system first. The best thing is to use Artic 5 thermal grease on the CPU also. There are a few programs online that will help overclock your CPU. But make sure you have cooling upgrade first. techforce
You can try ocing with stock coolers, most Mobo's have cpu thermal throttling now... just go small increments at a time and watch the cpu temp... anything over 140 will start to cause problems... Loudcivic
it would be a good idea to tell us what motherboard your using and memory. if the motherboard doesnt have a locked agp/pci frequency then you can only go so far till you corrupt your os install and lose all your data. also if the motherboard doesnt have any voltage options and overclocking options in the bios i would say dont do it. overclocking from the bios is the best way to do it. there are lots of factors to ocin you just cant oc any cpu/ motherboard combo or you could be in for a rude awakening. let us know what all the specs are on your pc and we can go from there Edited August 6, 2010 by loudREcivic Quote 2015 silverado crew cab nothing atm but soon...
