rckstar Posted August 17, 2010 Report Share Posted August 17, 2010 There s no fuse on the standard wire that runs from the alternator to the battery, and all you re doing is adding a better quality cable when you do a BIG 3 , so I dont see why one would be required. sqsux Posted August 17, 2010 Report Share Posted August 17, 2010 You don't NEED fusing, even if you're doing it yourself. Just make sure your wire rating matches up with amperage, it's not laying on anything that could melt/tear it, and all your connections are good.
