options on new sub box

I'm upgrading my system and need some advise on a box type. I had 2 12's in a sealed box with around 1K watts and was fairly happy with the sound but I really want to step it up and do things right this time around. I've got a BMW 540i sedan, I have the box facing forward with the ski pass open to let the bass in the car. The new setup will be 2 Memphis Mojo 12's and an Audiopipe AP-30001D. This is going to be a daily driver, I listen to a lot of rock and some rap mixed in. So I guess the advise I'm looking for is what type of box would be best for my setup, sealed or ported and should I face the subs toward the front or rear of the car? I know there are a lot of different ways to do it but hopefully some advise here will send me in the right direction.
