def darvex, you and like hdorre said, an extra battery would be nice, mechman has free shipping on his xs batts a d1200 is 180 shipped from him, pretty nice deal for a new battery, you can buy some bulk 0 gauge connectors and 2 or 3 fuse boxes from darvex and be pretty well set

and you can order your fuse holders from various ebay stores and some of them will give you w/e fuse size you ask so you might be able to save some cash that way

200 amp fuse, my d2400 , big 3??, terminals (check out darvex), what are you making the box out of (i suppose mdf but just checkin) add in mdf screw, wood glue, resign, mat, mids/highs??

depends what wood is were yo at. around here a big sheet of mdf is like $20. one of those sheets usually makes a box around 4-6 cubes so yea.... go by that id say if you use one sheet id would be around 50

as for build supplies, it depends on pretty much where you live, around here in the middle of nc, at lowes and homedepot a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 mdf is 32 bucks, and a box of 2 inch wood screws is around 12 dollars, wood glue would be around 3 bucks, then ahh, resin, around 10 bucks, so

around 60 bucks, if you can build your box from 1 sheet of mdf, are you going to solder or crimp or connectors, bc if you solder, like you should, you need to buy alot of solder, 0 gauge sucks it up lol, but its worth it

yea it does get expensive fast, but look around your local craigslist and on different sites. there are a ton of good deals to be taking advantage of and if your smart you could build your system for under 1000. just make sure to do alot of research before buying!

yea, i would try to save up an extra 200 bucks at all time so if you find something on sale you can get it then, and just put it in a corner till build time
