GoHoMeUcRyBaBy Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Ok so i hooked up my passenger side speakers to an alpine MRP-F300 and when i have the volume all the way down they make a statiky noise. I have a Kenwood head unit (KVT-696), polk audio door speakers, Kenwood tweeters, and boston acoustics rear speakers. I know its not "the shit", but its wat i could afford. I think i hooked it up right cuz the speakers are loud as hell, i just dont wanna hear static when i switch songs or have the volume all the way down. If anyone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it. Here is a pic of how i hooked it up. Its a shitty drawing but i did my best. haha...If you cant understand it i hooked up the positive from door speaker and tweeter to positive on amp. Then hooked up door and tweeter (negative)to amp. white4d96 Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Check your grounds and make sure they're completely bare metal. Also check to make sure your speaker wires/RCA's aren't next to power wires or anything where they may pick up interference. Failing that maybe try other RCA's/speaker wire? Too many projects, too little time...

When i find a job ill buy some better wire for everything.
