2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Aux Question

This vehicle comes with a stock infinity stereo system where there is no aux installed. I was just curious if anyone knows how to install the aux into the stock stereo of a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor.

I read though a ton of these bulletins, and found NO solution for a direct connection. There was some speculation, but nothing seemed to work. Just a bunch of stuff about plugging into this pin or that pin with a certain adapter. Then I found a recommendation for a Scoche (or however you spell that) FM modulator on Crutchfield. Results were mixed, but not great. Did another search and came upon this little gem:

The reviews are excellent, even from audiophiles and other people in the industry. Reasonable price, and the only real solution if you want to maintain factory functionality with the addition of an auxiliary port. The trick is in the noise isolator, which eliminates the hiss that people complained about in the other model. My plan is to buy a 2005 Mitubishi Endeavor this week, and I was feeling a little defeated until coming upon this solution. A new head unit would be better I'm sure, but sounds like it would eliminate the complete functionality of the CD/Radio/display on the Endeavor.
