cmamtower
i got the set of 5k bulbs and ballasts around 8 months ago. and 2 months after having them in. the right light wouldnt go into high beam ( light retracts into housing) me and wL worked on the crap for about a half hour until he found that if you hold down the edge of the bulb where it retracts then it would work. im just wondering if anyone has had this problem with the hi/lo bulbs and what to do to fix it since i dont wanna wait another 6 months to get a replacement from ddm. if you guys need any more of detail of whats going on just ask. lol Quote apparently you dont get the fact that the subaru was wrapped around a pole. and by the status of your comment, im guessing your mouth is too. white4d96
My friend got hi/lo's for his Shadow, and his don't work quite right either. The highs are very loose, and the light pattern doesn't change much, if at all, between low and high. Quote Too many projects, too little time... white4d96
I think its just the hi/lo setup thats bad maybe, cuz my 55w 10k's have been drama free, save for me needing to push my locking tabs down onto the bulb more.
