Rebel4055
If it's the L82 (3100 SFI V6 on the intake manifold?) mine does it too. Think it's just a normal thing. My neutral idle is like 800 and in a gear it drops very noticeably. Yep yep! I guess it is then! Rest In Peace mother. white4d96
Mine idles about there on cold starts. If you let it sit and warm up does it go down? Too many projects, too little time...
Rebel4055
Mine idles about there on cold starts. If you let it sit and warm up does it go down? Stays the same cold or warm. It has a check engine light on I need to get it tested. Rest In Peace mother. white4d96
It's a 95 you said? You'll have to pull the code yourself, I don't think those can be scanned... http://www.extreme-check-engine-light-codes.com/GM%20OBD1%20Decoder.htm That should help ya. BigPimpin91
I'd rather have something that evaporates/burns quickly in my intake/motor compared to water. Water in an engine is a VERY bad thing. My .02 Water's ok as long as engine is running and it's a minute amount. How do you think people clean the top end of their engines without disassembling them? A can of Top Engine cleaner followed by some water. Ever see a piston of a cylinder with a coolant leak? Nice and shiny. Rebel4055
I tried the pin jump for the engine codes but I waited and waited and the check engine light didn't flash so this car must have it to where you can get a diagnostic tool.
