Guest Posted October 28, 2010 Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 i did the big 3 have 1 run 1/0 2 yellow tops still looking for a alternator , the only 1 i found for that year was 170 amp dont know if thats gonna work i suggest you talk to DC Power and Mechman about alternators. 5kw is too much for a 170 amp in my opinion. Watch voltage like a hawk, do not let it see below 11v ever! They are VERY sensitive amps and expensive to repair, but you will love it if you take care of it.
