kjj913
ok so i really never understood ohms i just wired things to that point of where they work lol, i think i have a ganeral idea but im not sure on it i just got 2 t3 15'' subs and i want to wire them to an audioque 2200d amp and im not trying to overpower anything or blow anything. so heres a diagram i made on how i normally would wire subs like this, how many ohms is the first one, and the second drawing is one of the set ups that was in the direction guide, so can anyone help me with these? dugee81
Well first off we need to what impedance each of your coils is configured to so we can figure out this math problem. If it is dual 2 ohm, then the first picture you displayed will be 1 ohm (parallel), and the 2nd would be 4 ohm (series). If it is a dual 4 ohm, the first pic would be 2 ohm (parallel), and 2nd is 8 ohm (series) 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm
