need help deciding system, picks of my 95 jetta inside also

Recommended Posts

ok guys, finally about to order my system, after paying for a freshly rebuilt tranny in my truck and spending another grand on my 500 dollar jetta i've decided its build time.

I already have a pioneer 4200ub headunit and an audiopipe 1500d amp. I've been thinking of running 4 speakers of the headunit, just my 4 inch speakers up front and my 6.5s in the rear doors that

are pretty much covered up by the seat.

I was thinking of a ASA600.4x - PowerBass 4 Ch http://www.woofersetc.com/p8083/ASA6004x--PowerBass-4-Ch-600-Watt-Auto-sound-Series-Amplifier.htm

with these 4 inchs for the dash http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_14405_Rockford_Fosgate_T142C.aspx

these to run off amp for the read deck http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_21988_Rockford_Fosgate_T1652.aspx

and these to run off the h/u on the rear doors http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_21403_Rockford_Fosgate_R1653.aspx

and these for the front doors http://www.crescendoaudio.com/product.php?productid=17514&cat=251&page=1

The subs have given me the most trouble, i wanted to go with sealed box and face the cabin and seal it off from the trunk and mount the 2 amps on either the back of the back seats or make an amp rack in the trunk.

anyways i think i've decided to go with the p3 12s. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_18002_Rockford_Fosgate_P3D212.aspx

Thats the general idea anyways. any input from some more experienced builders would be appreciated before i order and also, my lil toy car i bought,

WARNING about 20 PICTURES DOWN BELOW!!! Lag my occur, or maybe not idk

As for subs, DC level 3s. Idk if SA subs like being sealed..if they do, that's another possibility

i was thinking of dcs and fi, i just chose the p3s as a standard, i would like something that would take a lil more than 500 watts, gotta consider the level3s i i didn't know if they like sealed though

From what I read, they do fine sealed. IIRC Ascendant audio has a 550wrms sub, maybe I'm mistaking it for Fi. There are subs that can get a LOT louder than the P3s on the same/less power

yea, thinking of 2 12 ssds now, just sent rusty a pm, hoping to get 2 level 3 twelves, the closest dealer is 2 hours away, which isn't bad, if they aren't to awfully expensive i could pay sales tax for once

I put a SSD 12 in 3 cu net @ 33Hz in a Hyundai Tiburon on 600w and it sounds great, especially for the budget Fi and 600w RMS, so if you're looking for a budget build, I recommend them.
