help with used gaming computer

just need some advice. i was going to buy a ps3 but changed my mind, i want another computer. i have a 300-350 bugdet for a used dual core or better computer been looking on craigslist just need some guidance. mosly play army, racing, and some other random games but dont know what to look for here is a couple i thought about.

You could save some more money and you could get a sweet rig for around 450-550 bucks. My rig was only $524 (all of it new and fairly up to date) and can play every game I have on max settings, just have to be a smart shopper and know what you are looking for.

This, and up to you what you want to play, in all these rig´s the graphiccards are to weak. Or in other words, old trash good enough to do some officeprogramm.

No new gametitel would run with them.

PS. Young Buck can you tell us the specs of your rig?

I would save up but I only work 2 days a week and this money is coming from a side job lol just wanted a good computer play some games on

NZXT Apollo case

ATI HD 5670

G.Skill 4GB RAM

Intel i3 OC'ed to 3.6 GHz (can go higher but this works fine for me)

Gigabyte Mobo

W.D. 320gb hard drive (gonna switch that out soon)

CoolerMaster 600w psu

and a 17" gateway monitor

I'm happy with it. Got it all from Newegg except the monitor, I love that place so much.

That's a pretty good setup. I love building gaming PCs, but sometimes I feel tempted to buy the rigs the have on ebay. Some of their systems are re-damn-diculous.

Yea, I run WoW and SCII at over 60fps easy, and other games at or above 30fps. To the OP, we all started as noobs, just read up on stuff, read reviews, get edumacated, thats what I did.
