Chris661
what up all? down to the point..i have 55w hid ballast with (h4) bi-xenon bulbs. well one bulb went out but i have 35w bulbs singals h4 bulbs. i was woundering if it going to hurt anything if i plug them in? i know the color will go away because of the higher wattage. thanks -Chris Quote http://www.youtube.com/user/EAZYCHRIS?feature=mhee
cmamtower
what up all? down to the point..i have 55w hid ballast with (h4) bi-xenon bulbs. well one bulb went out but i have 35w bulbs singals h4 bulbs. i was woundering if it going to hurt anything if i plug them in? i know the color will go away because of the higher wattage. thanks -Chris for the most part all bulbs are the same, just higher wattage ballasts cause the bulbs to burn hotter. so plugging in a 35watt ballast to a 6k will be blue, and a 55watt ballast will make the 6k bulb look like a 5k bulb(for the most part) the bulb temperature color is the only problem you should come in contact with. correct me anyone if im wrong. micah_jones
It really depends where they are from. Most places(like DDM) use the same bulbs for every application, just different ballasts, but there could be places that only sell 35w kits so their bulbs might not be able to take the added power from the 55w. Where are your bulbs from?
