rboudreaux77 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Right now I have 1 DC XL 15" and I want to get another one but for the time being I was gonna get the AP3k and put it on my sub but its a dual 2ohm so I was gonna run it @ 4ohms. Does anyone know how much it will put out @ 4ohms? If its 3000 @ 2ohms will it be around 1500 @ 4ohms Quote http://www.dcsoundlab.com/ 2008 Chevy Impala (Daily Driver) Pioneer touchscreen w/navi 1 DC XL 15" (around 4cuft ported box) 1 AQ2200 1 AQ90x4 Memphis MClass 6.5s (front doors) Memphis MClass 6x9s (rear deck) stock alt & front batt; 1 Red top in the trunk 139.2db sealed (on my old JL1000/1) 140.0db outlaw (on my old JL1000/1) 1992 Chevy S-10 Ext cab. I would but can I do that? BigPimpin91 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 And wire one channel per voice coil? I would but can I do that? I don't wanna fuck up my sub Not what I was suggesting but you can do that. It'll be fine. Each channel is a 1500D. So 2Ω per hcannel = 4Ω Bridged. Quote BigPimpin91's Banging Music

This wiring stuff confuses me...I guess im kinda a noob when it comes to that part. I use these websites with the wiring tutorials lol. So I have a dual ohm sub they say 1ohm or 4ohm. And the only specs on this amp are 1ohm (2ch) and 2ohm (1ch) so if I run 1 voice coil to each ch it will be like running 2 single voice coil 2ohm subs? Robert8252 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Get a aq2200 for 389. Will do a little more then 2200 @ 1 ohm. 60 bucks more and more power out of it. The XL will easily take 2-2,500 without much expertice if your box is decent and you don't get gain happy Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
