Yeah that's where they test. They do underrate, but I don't really buy the birth sheet stuff, all the birth sheets for mine are between 1700-1800 RMS, but that's under ideal conditions that you'll never achieve in a car. I just really dig the new CP's for anybody who does any type of competing since it can help offset impedance rise. RF definitely makes some BA amps, they're about as solid as can be (although they can be a little pricey if you don't have anybody to hook you up lol). Although you can't go wrong with a Sundown 1500, or really even the AQ 1200 if you're on any type of budget at all. But I'd definitely check out for sale sections on sites to see if you can pick up an RF T1500-1bd, CP or not, I know I'm selling one of my extras, and they can be found used in great condition for a really good price on a lot of these forums.
