Help picking a 2channel amp

Well my old faithfull Rockford Power running my mids & highs is going out on me. I'm looking for an in expensive 2 channel to replace it. I was looking at the Soundstream picasso & tarantula series and noticed the older picasso costs more than the newer tarantula(confused since picasso is a lower line). Anyone have experience with either or have other suggestions for under $200.00 125-150 watts per channel. Also opinions on Soundstream's newer reference line.
