Xtant + Fi + Buick Lesabre

My buddy and I are putting a system together for his buick. So far, for an amp we have an Xtant 1001DX. Stable down to 1 ohm and 1000w RMS, it should be a great mate for the sub... For a sub we will be ordering a Fi Q18. We are still trying to decide on the enclosure so we can finalize the options on the sub. One big thing I am wondering, is how do you guys think a box firing into the trunk, but ported into the cabin through the middle of the backseat would sound? The car has a pass-through cutout behind the armrest for the backseat, but the seats dont fold down. I have never built a box like that, and I dont want to just gamble on the potential sound outcome because this is gonna be a big box and not trivial to build. I think around 8 cubic feet ported to 32hz should sound pretty good, but maybe 10 cubic feet? I have never had a sub that big or high-end so I dont know how to get the absolute best sound.. Overall goal is very solid, clear bass that can go one louder.
