4Bent Posted December 26, 2010 Report Share Posted December 26, 2010 Ok so i bought some tweeters (robot underground-hardtimes)and have all kinds of parts and do not know how to put all this together. well i have an idea but clueless about some of these parts. As my reciever i have a Panasonic CQ-C8400U Here are some specs: MP3,WMA CD Receiver Motorized, detachable faceplate Day and Night illumination High-definition 3DDM animated display custom graphics spectrum analyzer CD-R,RW Compatible Direct track selection (with remote control) Alphatuner V 18 FM/6 AM presets Seek tuning SQ7 sound control (six preset tone curves and a 7-band equalizer) MOSFET60 internal amp RMS Power Rating: 26 watts x 4 chan. Guest Posted December 26, 2010 Report Share Posted December 26, 2010 what tweeters are these? ive never seen a kit that had all the parts separated like that, especially the capacitor. the big yellow thing is a capacitor which filters out low frequencies that the tweeter cannot play. you install ONE capacitor in line of the + speaker wire, not the -. doesnt matter which way the capacitor faces. everything else should be pretty much straight forward Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If they are, then you can make a 12db per octave crossover, not just a 6db per octave one.
