The truck motors way cheaper and blocks are stronger lq4 = iron ls2 and the powerblock show horsepower took a junkyard 4.8 with 50k miles and threw a bunch of boost at it tryn to blow out the bottom end and it wouldnt do it lol. Nice to see you on here man, I watched all your vids on YouTube. That's a mighty fine machine you got there. I'm thinking of going a single turbo, Might build my own engine from and LSx block and see what I can do on road courses. CaPRiCEx383 Posted August 5, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2013 This jack here we have had probably 20+ years. Has served us well. But it decided to give in to it's old age yesterday! No worries though, a couple minutes later I went out to harbor freight and picked up a new one. Also went at the stripped bolt from 10am-4:30pm. Lots of broken drill bits and sockets and extractors later and we got it out! Was a major bitch to get out but it's done. Now I'm gonna go on Summit and order some new ones to start building again. Here are the heads.
