KevinAmirkhanian
Hi guys I had a few questions about my sound system. #1 is 20 hz for my sub sonic and eighty hz for my low pass a good setting? Also I was wondering if I am underpowering my sub because its rated at 800w rms and my amp is at 1200w rmx x1 channel but my sub is NOWHERE near max excursion. Also I was wondering should I ever raise the bass on my headunit or no? Edited January 18, 2011 by KevinAmirkhanian
Rebel4055
Well first, what amp is it, what sub is it. What head unit do you have and do you have a sealed or ported box. KevinAmirkhanian
Sorry for the lack of info. It's a MD sound 12175 12" sub and a Blitz Audio 2400 watt amp and a pioneer headunit
Rebel4055
Sorry for the lack of info. It's a MD sound 12175 12" sub and a Blitz Audio 2400 watt amp and a pioneer headunit That amp probably isn't putting out 1000w. Is your box sealed or ported. Quote Rest In Peace mother. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

Rebel4055
pre fab Yeah that subsonic is way toooo low, pre-fabs can range from 40 to high 50's tuning. Not for sure what you should set it at, wait till someone else chimes in. Quote Rest In Peace mother.
