Coolwazabi Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Well when I go from reverse to overdrive the car's voltage drop from around 14v to 11v... sometimes even stalls out.. why does this happen ? I've owned numerous cars and never had this "issue". Its on a 95 chevy caprice. Also.. why is there a 2-4 second delay when i switch gears ? Quote

rubbernutz1 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 sounds like u either need to service the trans or replace it. transmissions in those are partially computer controlled. try changing the fluid and filter in the trans 1st and see what that does for it. thats about the cheapest thing to try 1st Quote
Coolwazabi Posted January 21, 2011 Author Report Posted January 21, 2011 I did that when i bought the car about a year ago. I noticed when i bought it, it wasn't the pinkest so i changed all the fluid and replaced the filter. I wouldn't doubt its gonna fail soon... there notorious for problems. Quote
