New Box Time,..Is this Okay?

ive built a few ported boxes in the past and never had any issue with how they sounded.

But want to know if there anything i can do to make it sound better, its for Street Bass not SPL.

Kit list:

Amp - Orion D5000 (2.5kw rms)

Sub's - 2 x 15" Fi Bl's

Car - Vw Golf Mk2 3dr.

Boot space - 37" Width , 25" depth , 22" hight

last box was 6cuft @ 35hz

heres my Design for the new box 8.4cuft @ 34hz with 12.55 SPA Per Cuft

let me know what you guys think, will be 25mm top & Bottom , 18mm on sides.

everything looks good to me. if you want to be a tad louder, aero ports are supposed to help out alot

hi mate , thanks for the reply .. i know about Aero ports , ive not heard a big install that used aero ports then a slot/square port.

The current port in this design is 3" wide and i will try and round off the edges as much i can to keep port noise down and aid air flow.

but i dont think there should be any issuse as ive used 12.55 SPA per cuft , rather then 8 - 10 like other boxes ive done.

also i can see if loading off the tail gate glass helps if not swing it around and load of the roof, with out too much effort.

what is SPA? we usually use square feet around here. generally its 12 - 16 sqin (square inches) of port per cubic foot. 9-11 or something like that for aero ports

SPA= Square port area.. we use inches over this side. and 8-10 for slots and 5-8 for Aeros (its what ive read and been told to use as minnium)
